How Much Would These Silver Coins Be Worth?

Question by HABISKY: how much would these silver coins be worth?
I have allot of silver coins but no idea how much they cost. im sorry this is so complicated but just see if you can identify any of these. Here they are:

1-Mexican pesos [1981_1978 "un" peso]

These links should be somewhat helpful to you. Mexican currency made prior to 1993 is no longer legal tender, but it does have collector value. The Canadian half dollars are not worth much more than silver melt value. I hope that helps.

I looked at the last picture, the Morgan dollars. It seems to be a generic photo, not the exact coins you have. So, I have no idea if the condition of anything here warrants paying a premium over silver content. Therefore, I’m going to give you the current silver value plus a 10% premium for numismatic value.

The Mexican coins have no silver. As a group, worth $1-$2 to the right collector.

I’m confused about Canada. You say 2 cents and then show a .50 piece. Pennies are worth 3-5 cents each. Silver half dollars are worth $5.30 each. The silver quarter is worth $2.65.

You show a 1964 half, but list 1965,1966, 1967. That’s confusing also. The 1964 is 90% silver, the others are 40% silver – big difference. The three 40% are worth $8

4 Walking Liberty halves and 5 Franklin halves – worth $56.50

6 Peace dollars and 7 Morgan dollars – worth $178.00

So the total for this collection is about $248 if you have Canadian pennies and not halves. Add $12 if they are halves, not pennies.

If you took these into a dealer’s shop, I’d expect an offer of $200. Dealers want to buy below current silver market price so they can make an instant profit, then make additional profit by selling any pieces with additional collector value.
