		<description>The odds are the dime was damaged outside the mint. One area on a coin cannot be struck more than once by itself. A lot od so called error coins are damaged coins. A dealer would need to see it or I would need a scan or photo&#039;s of both sides. The quarter is 90% silver so is worth around 8 times face to a dealer. Only a mint state 1964 quarter would have a collector value and it is not much. I know not the answer you would like but there are still rare coins in circulation out there.</description>
