I have a silver penny worth that is dated 1972. Does anybody know how much it is worth and/or if they can help me where to find it's value. Were there any unintentionally made that went into circulation? Thanks!

It's a phony. Probably made by a company for some kind if add campaign or some body silver plated a 1972 penny.

The coin was silver plated by someone, more likely a science class. There has never been a silver cent and the silver colored one from 1943 was zinc coated steel. There were never any made in 1972 on purpose or in error.
