Question by -"Artii. !": How much would a 1943 Silver-looking penny cost right now in 2010?
I have a 67 year old penny and I was wondering how much it cost since it's so old.
Best answer:
Answer by fatboysdaddy This steel clad penny is worth about $.15 to about .00.
If it has been clean then it is worth less. I have about 50 of them.
Now if you had one of the very few copper 1943 pennies then you are talking about lots of money. Over ,000.00 for it.

Question by Eunice K: How much would you think these would sell for. 1943 dime, Misprinted Dime, Silver Quarter 1964?
The misprinted dime seems as though its border was punched twice.
Best answer:
Answer by mirrorcoin Your first coin is a Winged Liberty Dime also referred to as a Mercury Dime. They were minted from 1916-1945. I'm not sure if it is an error or not although it could be, I would need to see a picture of it to make sure. it's value is around .00. Your second coin is a Washington Quarter Dollar which were first minted in 1932. The year 1964 had a mintage of 560,390,585 and is worth around .00. I hope this information helps answer your question.

Question by xD: How much is an a 1943 Silver Penny worth?
Best answer:
Answer by Scott Stevenson It's not actually silver, it's made out of steel that was coated in zinc.
It's going to depend on the condition. Unless it has absolutely no wear on it, it might bring you a dollar or so from a dealer, who might turn around and sell it for a couple of bucks.
A lot of the steel cents were "replated" after they left the mint--the original plating wasn't that great, and as the zinc wore away, they began to rust. Replated cents are usually easy to spot, because they're unnaturally shiny.

Question by purplesparklez: Is there such a thing as a real 1943 silver wheat penny? Are wheat pennies from 1934 to 1958 worth anything?
I recieved a wheat penny collection as a gift a long time ago. They are dated 1934 to 1958. The 1943 penny is silver colored. Is the silver penny real, or a fake? What are the other pennies worth?
