Sorry Hiiyaa, I don't know any place out in your area. I would think that there are collectors in your local phone book.

Question by Eclipse Girl: Can anyone tell me how much I could sell these Mexican Coins for?
1948 5 pesos 30g Mexican Silver Coin
1987 Juarez Mexican Silver Coin
??? Thanks

A 1948 Mexican 5 Pesos contains 0.8681 troy ounces of silver which is currently worth about US, and the coin is worth only slightly more than that. 1987 Mexican 50 Pesos is only worth US even if like new. These are retail prices, and a coin dealer would pay wholesale prices. The Mexican Peso was devalued in 1993, so the coins would be worthless as currency if you tried to spend them in Mexico today. I hope that helps.

Question by NorCalGuy: Where can I sell about 50 Morgan silver dollars in Northern California?
I am pretty sure there is no numismatic value and their value is in the silver content. I am guessing they are in pretty average condition from 1880's to 1900. No Carson City mint coins. I'd like to know what the spread is between buying and selling in this market.
I would like to find a reputable dealer within driving distance of the east bay but, may do a couple hundred miles for a good price.

I'm by no means an expert on coins, but I would guess by the coin would get you more money. I would think that the rising price of sliver would form a base value for the coin itself, but then there would be an added value due to it being a coin. In other words, I don't see how the coin would ever sell for less than the value of silver in it. If the coin is in very poor condition, you may not find any coin buyers.
Then again, a penny is actually worth almost .02 in copper, but it is illegal to melt it down.

Question by Eunice K: How much would you think these would sell for. 1943 dime, Misprinted Dime, Silver Quarter 1964?
The misprinted dime seems as though its border was punched twice.

Your first coin is a Winged Liberty Dime also referred to as a Mercury Dime. They were minted from 1916-1945. I'm not sure if it is an error or not although it could be, I would need to see a picture of it to make sure. it's value is around .00. Your second coin is a Washington Quarter Dollar which were first minted in 1932. The year 1964 had a mintage of 560,390,585 and is worth around .00. I hope this information helps answer your question.
